This track stems from a jam that's been lingering in our minds for a while. It's a jam that always seems to come up when we are just hanging out playing for the fun of it. There is something sort of visceral and raw about it. So when the lyrics came to me as the back and forth between what we learn from our moms vs what we learn from our dads, it felt like another perfect metaphor for these crazy times when doublespeak is the lingua franca of the day and the Liar-in-Chief can't even keep his own lies straight. In the post-truth era, who do you believe?
